WPO offers continuing education in psychosocial oncology nationwide. The WPO-IC (interdisciplinary) and WPO-PT (licensed psychotherapists) curricula are aimed at heterogeneous target groups—including physicians, psychotherapists, and social workers—and are delivered at various locations with different instructors.

Requirement

The theoretical basic knowledge for preparing for course sessions should be delivered in a standardized manner across locations in order to bring participants with different prior knowledge to a common level—while simultaneously ensuring high professional quality and accreditation capability.

Procedure

In a multi-stage collaboration, learning objectives, content, and didactics were refined and converted into modular e-learning units:

Didactic concept & storyboards (micro-learning, cases, knowledge checks)
Coordination with speakers and multi-stage review/editorial cycles
Production & QA (technical, linguistic, didactic)
Moodle integration (roles/permissions, tracking, reporting)
Automation of certificate generation
