CDU Messel is the local district association of the CDU in the municipality of Messel. As a political organization, it is important to them to inform citizens transparently about topics, candidates, and the election program. For a contemporary digital presence, CDU Messel opted for a complete website redesign.

Requirement

The existing website, developed in Joomla, was to be rebuilt in Framer and visually modernized in the process. Particularly important was a CMS setup that enables an internal contact person to independently and easily maintain content such as news, candidates, and election programs—without any technical prior knowledge.

Procedure

First, the existing Joomla website was analyzed and the requirements for the new design were jointly defined. The site was then rebuilt in Framer with a modern layout. The CMS was structured so that frequently changing content can be edited easily. Finally, the responsible contact person received comprehensive training in Framer in order to be able to make future changes independently.

The CDU Messel now presents itself with a modern, fresh website that is convincing both visually and technically. Thanks to the intuitively structured CMS, the internal contact person can update content independently—without having to rely on external support.
